First Time Buyers - Why not Part Buy, Part Rent?

NewBuild Home Buy is a low-cost home ownership scheme to help people who cannot afford to buy a suitable home outright on the open market.  You may not be able to afford the full mortgage repayments, the deposit or both.  Through NewBuild Home Buy, you buy a share of the property, usually with a mortgage, and pay rent to a housing assocation such as Threshold Key Homes on the remainder.  Later on, if you wish, you may buy further shares and progress to outright ownership.
